Welcome to our class blog!

Please take a few minutes to become familiar with the home page.  This is a great place to come after you are done your independent reading each night.

You can see in the sidebar to the left that our first read aloud will be Walter, The Story of a Rat. Find the "Follow by e-mail" box and add an e-mail.  Either yours or your parents.  One e-mail that will be checked each day. This way, you'll know when there are new posts to respond to. The left sidebar also has your Reading Rewards link so you can log your reading each day and a few helpful links for mom and dad.  I may add more to this sidebar as the year progresses.

On the right sidebar, you can take the mini survey.  I can't wait to see the results!  Check for new
mini surveys each month. Check out The Daily Puppy.  There is a new one each day.  So cute!

At the top of the screen, you can see the page tabs.  You are currently on the home page, which is where most of my new posts will go.  Click on each as you read the next paragraph.

The "About our blog" tab will briefly explain each type of post you will see. The "Google classroom" page is a reference page that will reflect how we are moving forward with technology in our classroom.  I will post here to help you use what we have learned in class when you get home. The "Write a review" tab will explain how you can write your own reviews like the ones I post.  If you work hard on it, I may feature it on the home page for everyone to see. Finally, I put a few of my favorite books on the "Mrs. Agnella recommends" page.  I'll change these every couple of months in case you are stuck and don't know what to read next.
