TED Talk and article: Your response

This is a TED talk for kids and and article from Scholastic.  Both focus on the topic of deception.  If anyone hasn't heard of TED talks, they are informative conversations by experts on many topics.  The experts are challenged to share their thoughts and ideas in a short video so that people around the world can listen and think and start their own conversations.

Then, Watch the video, The Magic of Truth and Lies (and ipods), twice.  Once, to just enjoy the sheer amazement of it.  A second time to really listen to the message that the speaker is trying to share with us.  Talk with mom and dad if you can and then comment. 

What is your opinion about deception?  Is it ok to lie in certain situations or is honesty always the best policy?
